For our welcome drinks event at Rudi, cocktail/semi-formal attire is recommended. For our wedding day events, we would like our guests to be dressed formally. For women, this could be a floor-length gown, fancy midi dress, cocktail dress or polished pantsuits. For men, please wear a suit, dress shirt and dress shoes. Do wear something that's comfortable so you can dance the night away!

From Vancouver, B.C, you can bring your car onto the ferry at Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay terminal, then drive about 30 minutes to Hatley Castle, or take an Uber/Lyft from the terminal. From Victoria International Airport (YYJ), it is also about a 30 minute drive or Uber/Lyft ride to the Hatley Castle

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors in the "Great Lawn", our reception will be held indoors.

There is limited parking at Hatley Castle so we recommend taking a taxi or ride-share service. If you would like to drive to the venue, Hatley Castle is located in Royal Roads University. As you enter the campus from Sooke Road, turn onto University Drive. Follow the road and you will see Hatley Castle on your right. After you see the castle, continue down the road and turn right to reach the Central Parking Lot and purchase a ticket at the pay station. Please follow the path to walk up to Hatley Castle. We recommend guests to stay nearby in Victoria, BC at one of the many hotels recommended on our website. Guests staying in Vancouver can take the ferry (approximately 1.5 hours) to Victoria Harbor.

If your invitation did not include a plus one, but you would like to bring a guest, please contact Mandy and Richard! We can't promise we'd be able to accommodate due to our capacity limit, but we will try! We'd like to limit plus ones to significant others.
